R + D Virtual Testing + Predictive Modeling

The damage tolerance assessment of aerospace parts requires to have static and fracture allowables when subjected to vibratory loading environment. Currently, fracture toughness and fatigue crack growth properties are obtainable through the ASTM testing standards, which are costly and time consuming. When test data are not available to analyst, it can have delay on the program, especially when time and budget do not allow to conduct tests. Therefore, there is a need to generate fracture allowables through the virtual testing technique that can be helpful to analyst to meet customers demand without delay on the program.

TASS virtual testing experience is unmatchable and has developed two powerful software (FTE & FCGE) that can estimate fracture toughness and fatigue crack growth rate data in short time. When test data are not available, the virtual testing software can be useful to analyst to conduct damage tolerance analysis without relying on costly and time consuming tests.
